During the rotation in this division, residents are exposed to a variety of procedures involving general gynecology, gynecological oncology, renal transplant, cystoscopy, TURP, robotic surgery and urological malignancies. This rotation also offers great opportunities to learn management of patients for laparoscopic procedures in gynecology as well as urology. The goal of this division is to ensure that the residents understand specific issues related to this group of patients.



Dr. Adsumelli awarded the Ellison Pierce Patient Safety Award at the 2007 ASA meeting.
