This tool is designed to make the tedious but important job of
preparing solutions easier and more reliable.
These webpages were generated from an Excel spreadsheet using SpreadsheetConverter.
General
Instructions
Green fields
- Green background indicates input fields.
Navigation - Use 'tab' to move from one field to another.
Error page - Pressing 'enter' or 'return' may bring you to an
error page (it generates a 'Submit' without a destination). If this
happens, use the back button on your browser to return.
Printing - Print button is at
the bottom of each page.
Comments - The comments field can be used to add comments to a
printout. The comments are not saved.
Significant Figures - Set the desired number of significant figures from
1-5.
Offline - You can download SolutionMaker.zip
to your computer and use it when not connected to the internet.

Instructions
Solution <range> -
Use this link to prepare stock solutions from powder or liquid
compound. Choose a compound from the alphabetic lists.
Dilution -
Use this link to prepare a dilution of a stock solution to a desired
concentration.
New Compound - Use this link to prepare a stock solution from a
compound that is not already on the list. Unfortunately, there is no
direct way to save the compound data (MW) for future calculations.
However, if you e-mail the information to me, I
will include it in the next update of SolutionMaker.
